Swanage

Swanage is the most easterly town on the Jurassic Coast, and its gently shelving sandy beach and sheltered waters have made it a popular destination for families since Victorian times. The Mumbles

Surround yourself in the history and tradition that this area is steeped with. There’s a Lighthouse built in 1794, and a Victorian Pier. Lynmouth & Lynton

Jamaica Inn & Padstow

Jamaica Inn was built int 1750 as a coaching inn- The 18th Century equivalent of the modern day service station for weary travellers. Using the turnpike between Launceston and Bodmin, they would stay at the in after crossing the wild and treacherous moor. The Jamacia Inn is also well known as the setting for Daphne du Maurier’s novel of the same name from 1936.

Then on to Padstow town which is centrerd around the working harbour where boats come and go with the days catches and there’s always a crab line or two to take an interest in. From gift shops pastry parlours, there plenty to recommend, including the national lobster Hatchery where marine life conversations can be seen in action.

The British Firework Championships, Plymouth

The world famous British Firework Championships is set to return to Plymouth for its 20th showdown. It is an annual competition held in Plymouth that gives an amazing show and is definitely worth seeing.

Fireworks start around 9-9.30pm

There are 3 displays, each lasting around 10 minutes.

The coach departs Plymouth for the return approximately 10.30 – 10.45pm, once the fireworks have finished we ask passengers to make their way back to the coach.
